Carson Clark on Seven Leadership Styles – Updated with poll

My virtual friend Carson Clark presents in his latest blog post his view on seven leadership styles. They are:

1. The Boss

2. The Politician

3. The Revolutionary

4. The ‘Cornerist’

5. The Mediator

6. The Doer

7. The Prophet

Find HERE how he defines them.

It may not be a surprise for those who know me that my favourites are the Prophet and the Revolutionary, in this order. And this is true for me both as a leader and as a follower.

What do you think? Which are your favourite leadership styles, as a leader, and then, as a follower, in case these are different.

Is your leadership style not part of the list? How would you label and describe it succinctly.

Do you mind responding to the following poll? You may chose one or two options. Add one, if your style is not in the list.

    1. I guess others should evaluate which is actually my leadership style.
If you ask which are my favourite ones, they are the Prophet and the Revolutionary, in that order.
