In a statement released simultaneously at the Vatican and in London, the Catholic Church announced that a recent decision has paved the way for a easier integration in this church of the traditional Anglicans who have been disheartened by the acceptance in the Anglican communion of the ordination of women as bishops, as well as the ordination in this hierarchical position of openly gay persons.
