William Loyd Allen, professor of church history and spiritual formation at Mercer University’s McAfee School of Theology in Atlanta writes for Associated Baptist Press a very interesting article i which he underlines a series of communalities between classic Baptist ecclesiology and the view of the church in the Emergent movement.
I hightly recommend this text to those Evangelicals who, for various reasons, feel threatened by this contemporary renewal movement.
