Madonna foreswears celebrity religion; converts to Methodism | NewsBiscuit.

I have to say I am a serious skeptic of all this VIP religious stuff. For their sake I hope it’s genuine, not just another PR stunt. We shall see. May God have mercy on their troubled souls.

  1. We do, indeed, but with so much fake stuff in the world of show biz, it is wise for one to use the hermeneutic of suspicion, as proven by my prof’s comment.

  2. Here is a useful explanation left on Facebook by one of my LSF profs, Antony Billington: Hi All – just in case it’s not clear, ‘Newsbiscuit’ bills itself as offering ‘satirical, parody and spoof news’. Often funny, in my opinion, but not – alas – news as such.
