he Byzantium Jazz Project is based on the specific tonalities of Byzantine music. The sound world of this originally two-voiced vocal genre, adapted to a modern understanding and embedded in compositions using elements of Jazz, is resounding now instrumentally. In some of the compositions Byzantine singers are joining the traditional quartet formation.
