Sang Bok David Kim: How to Deal with Impossible People – A Biblical Perspective

The Rev. Dr. Sang-Bok David Kim was born in North Korea during the Japanese occcupation and grew up under communist rule until the first year of junior high school. When the Korean War broke out in 1950, he witnessed the three pastors and four elders of his own church martyred. He escaped to South Korea, separated from his parents and his siblings in North Korea, and was later educated in Korea and in USA.  He earned a Doctor of Theology degree from Grace Theological Seminary and has  taught as professor of theology and served as a pastor in USA and in Korea.

Dr. Kim also served as co-chair of Global Consultation of World Evangelization 1995 and chairman of Asia Theological Association.  He is currently serving as chairman of both the Asia Evangelical Alliance and the World Evangelical Alliance.

Dr. Kim is also chancellor of Torch Trinity Graduate University of Theology, Seoul, and pastor emeritus of Hallelujah Community Church, Korea.
