I suggest you should absolutely listen to this short comment on hell (and Rob Bell) by NT Wright. It’s brilliant and to the point. And, I am sure, the neo-fundamentalist neo-Reformed will hate it. Because it is true.

Thanks, Carson Clark.

  1. Interesting. He actually talks quite a lot without saying (almost) anything! Maybe Americans are so obsessed (definitely an overstatement) about hell because hell is “under fire”!? 🙂

    1. I prefer NT Wright even when (if) he says ‘(almost) anything’, to, say, Piper, saying lots of (nasty) things.
On hell, I am sure, in fact, it is just the other way around.
Of course, it is all a matter of perspective.

  2. Just wondering: are you a “neo-fundamentalist neo-Reformed” if you don’t agree with the reverend on some theological issue? I’m quite sure you can disagree with the man on lots of issues, without actually be a hard-line calvinist. Or neo-hard neo-line neo-calvinist. Just thinkin’.

  3. Sir, please read again my words. I did not say that all those who do not like what NT Wright says are neo…, but that the neo… will noit like what he says. Which is proven by some of the comments here.
