Thank-you for your interest in the Duke Divinity School Summer Institute! Applications will be accepted online at www.dukesummerinstitute.com through April 1, 2011. You will be offered the opportunity to apply for scholarship funding when you complete the admission application. Participants who are coming with a group of three or more participants from the same organization, church or ministry may apply for group scholarship funding rather than individual funding. If you are interested in applying for group scholarship funding, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We will continue to accept applications through April 1 and will respond to application and scholarship requests on a rolling basis throughout the spring:
- Apply by February 1 to receive a response by February 15
- Apply by March 1 to receive a response by March 15
- Apply by April 1 (final application deadline) to receive a response by April 15
We are very excited about the wonderful group of faculty who have agreed to join us this summer. They include Soong-Chan Rah teaching on Cultural Intelligence for a Changing Church, Mary Nelson teaching on Building Beloved Communities with the Poor, and Efrem Smith and Curtiss DeYoung teaching on Shaping Congregations for Faithfulness across Divides.
