St. Teresa of Avila – A Prayer for Reality

teresa-of-avila

May today there be peace within.
May you trust that you are exactly where you are meant to be.
May you not forget the infinite possibilities
that are born of faith in yourself and others.
May you use the gifts that you have received,
and pass on the love that has been given to you…

(With thanks to Gil Kimber)

  1. I quite don’t get this one: “May you not forget the infinite possibilities
that are born of faith in yourself and others.”
An there should be some “if-s” before this: “May you trust that you are exactly where you are meant to be.”
I wouldn’t say Amin at the end without clarifications…
In rest, sa fie pace…

    1. Mystical thinkers are not systematic theologians (that would be quite boring, at least the way most Protestants, and lots of Orthodox also, do theology 😦 )

Desigur, exista riscuri in asta, ca in orice lucru de valoare. Dar riscanta este si raminerea in aceasta paradigma.

    1. Osteen mistic? Daniel, you know better than that.
Do you believe me if I tell you I am a flower?
Don’t be naive in your arguments. I cannot be fooled by such unworthy schemes.

  4. Multumesc pt compliment… Sunt un baptist mistic… Dar Evanghelia are logica.
