Tens of thousands of poverty stricken parents in Africa will be tricked into selling their children for a little as $1.50. They do so believing that the “recruiter” can offer their children a life of hope and fulfilled dreams.
Instead the children are often forced to work with dangerous pesticides and machetes, beaten into submission, poorly fed, and imprisoned when not working.
