It seems that the publication of this post has upset the Israeli authorities. As a result, the video cannot be accessed anymore, neither on my blog, nor on You Tube. Here are, in exchange, ten other videos on the same theme: the uprooting of trees on Palestinian lands, in an effort to drive people to despair and make space for Jewish settlets.
Second story: What happens to Palestinian Olive trees after they are uprooted by the Israel? Taufik retune to his land four years after his olive trees have been uprooted. Badar speaks of the thousands dollars he and his family lost as a result of the tree uprooting and Akram tells about the uprooting of 300 trees some of them hundreds of years old.
Third story: 16th of Feb 2009 Ni’lin, West bank. The village was invaded and olive trees were cut and uprooted due to a new phase of construction. Full report at: www.palsolidarity.org
Fourth story: This video documents the Israeli army uprooting olive trees in the West Bank village of Ertas in order to make room for a sewage system for the settlement of Efrata.
Fifth story: Non violent Palestinian resistance. Our website:

Sixth story: Uprooting of 20-30 olive trees, to make way for the separation barrier, on land of Ras a Tira near Qalqilia, on March 15th 2009
Seventh story: Palestinian farmer Sharif Khalid with Rageh Ommar. The Olive branch is a universal symbol of peace – but that hasn’t stopped it becoming a victim of the Israeli – Palestinian conflict. In the West Bank and Gaza, the Israeli Army has uprooted nearly half a million trees – some of them dating back to Roman times. What’s not in doubt is the personal tragedy this leaves in its wake. Palestinian land owner Sharif Khalid travels over three days to get to the Witness studio to explain to Rageh Omaar why he chooses to sleep in his shed. (First of a three part documentary.)
Eighth story: Demonstrations against Israel’s 40 years of illegal Occupation of the West Bank, Gaza Strip, and Golan Heights, are springing up all over Palestine and the world. Here is one at Huwara checkpoint, one of the most notorious and humiliating in all of the West Bank. 51,000 trees from Nablus alone have been uprooted by Israeli Occupation Forces in the past 5 years.
Ninth story: Ultra-fundamentalist settlers from Hebron attacking Palestinians who are trying to harvest their own olive grove.
Tenth story: What Palestinian children endure under Israeli occupation. Tell me why song. www.UprootedOliveTree.net / JOIN our group: Stop Uprooting Olive Trees (UprootedOliveTree.net)
